EN 1.4418 is a martensitic-austenitic stainless steel with a high strength and low carbon content. It combines high strength with good weldability—properties that are retained after welding. It is also corrosion-resistant. EN 1.4418 is intended for use in mildly corrosive environments where the properties listed above are required for the application in question.
