Nickel 200/201

Nickel alloy 200/201 is a low-carbon austenitic nickel/iron/chromium alloy stabilised with niobium and containing molybdenum and copper. It is a low-carbon austenitic nickel/iron/chromium alloy. Phosphoric acid, nitric acid, chloride salts, and sulfuric acid are among the chemical environments in which it is extremely corrosion resistant. Also of note is that it has favourable mechanical properties at both low and high temperatures.

Nickel 200

A commercially pure, solid solution-weakening wrought material called Nickel 200 has very good mechanical properties and is very resistant to corrosion, but it can be hard to find. It is also very resistant to caustic alkalis in a wide range of concentrations and at different temperatures. That said, de-aerated acid is more resistant to corrosion, but that doesn't mean it is better. Also, the alloy is very good at transmitting heat and electricity because it doesn't have a lot of gas or vapour pressure inside.
